Details emerge in Lakewood police shooting
Hot trend today :Details have emerged about the police shooting that killed four policemen in Lakewood, Washington.
Four officers, three men and a woman, they were ambushed in the state of Washington Coffee a house near McChord Air Force Base.
The officers were sitting in the coffee house before they moved. They are planning to shift their laptops a day when the shooter entered and shot them dead.
"This is the target, selected an ambush," said Sheriff's Department spokesman Ed Troyer said.
He said a gunman entered, opened fire and shot the four officers. Two baristas and other customers in the store without injury - "only law enforcement officers become targets."
Two officers were shot while still sitting, the three were shot while trying to deal with the shooter and the fourth officer with the armed struggle and managed to fire his weapon several times, but it is not clear whether the suspect hit by Troyer said. The officers were wearing bulletproof vests at the time.
Officers from the patrol unit, including a Lakewood police sergeant.
A $ 10,000 reward offered for information leading to arrests.
The man described by one witness as "a mess looking for" African-Americans between the ages of 20 or 30's, wearing a hooded black jacket, gray T-shirt and blue jeans. A white pickup truck in the parking lot of a nearby supermarket has been marked as evidence.
A few months ago the other officers in the area were killed in the police car, however, there is no suggestion the two incidents are connected.
